Fade away

When I’m sitting at home alone
I often start thinking of you
At times I can’t believe myself
I’ve lost a love that could have been so true

The day that we first met
I was the happiest guy around
But times do change you know
That does nothing but bring me down

Was it love or lust that we shared
I guess we will never know
The last thing I wanted to hear
Was girl that you had to go

Now my life is without you girl
But I can still remember vividly
All I can do is try my best
To make you come back to me

I have tried to go on without you
But I just can’t get very far
Every time I think this love is over
I remember just who you are

It is hard to leave someone you love
One of the hardest things to do
I can’t be with any other woman
When my heart is in love with you

Why do I always think about you
It’s hard to get you out of my mind
Times change but my heart wont lie
Is there a better man you will find

I need a woman that really loves me
That wants me for who I am
Not one that will treat me badly
And proud to claim I am her man…
