Upon Our Return
(Poetry Form)
Saying goodbye to the life we leave behind
Our fate is in now a soldiers hands
Embarking on a lonely journey
Across the seas to distant lands
Our faith is strong we shouldn't go wrong
To reach our destination through the fields
We vow to conquer thy enemies at last
We pray to God as we shine our shields
If we reach the mountains and cliffs so high
Through the valleys we shall taste the glory
We may lose many but without victory
No one will carry on our divine story
So as we prepare for battle we keep our spirits
We know some are to die but we shall win
Only if Gods Guidance and Eternal Divinity
Will send our heroes home once again...
