Swept away
(Poetry Form)
She kneeled so gracefully into the soiled sand
Gazing into the weakening western skies
Her movements were of an angel from the heavens
I can still feel the pain by the tears that filled her eyes
When there were no more emotions left on her gentle face
I watched her draw a picture in the soiled sand
Then time stood still as she blew a kiss into the cool wind
It was then I took her fragile hand
And she was swept away…
She kneeled so gracefully into the soiled sand
Gazing into the weakening western skies
Her movements were of an angel from the heavens
I can still feel the pain by the tears that filled her eyes
When there were no more emotions left on her gentle face
I watched her draw a picture in the soiled sand
Then time stood still as she blew a kiss into the cool wind
It was then I took her fragile hand
And she was swept away…
