Knowing Is Believing

(Poetry Form)

Your choices on this earth
Will lead you to the other side
You must know right from wrong
And having nothing evil to hide

From the powers invested in me
I judge and learn my lessons
In my belief my God hears every word
One on One are my only confessions

In the eyes of our youth it is wrong
To boast proudly about your sin
The innocent is learning to know
Where to stop and where to begin

I have a mission, so you understand
To teach what I know is right
And to be among those so different
I must take aim and keep site

I'll never let them bring me down
Unless in a blaze of glory
Until they truly know me from within
I must continue with my story

I've a strong faith in my Gods above
I dream, think and pray of the power
When times get tough, I am strong
I recover from it hour after hour

To think of Divinity and Peacefulness
You may have to set aside or readjust
To fight the stronger evil I will
And to please my Gods is a must

Preparing for the other side I am
To carry on a tradition of the Corps
My masters once told me a time ago
I will be gaurding Heavens door

So my choice?, I speak my thoughts
It is wrong to mislead and to betray
Those that deny your Gods before man
May not live to die another day

Noone is guaranteed time in your heaven
Without a concious effort to serve
You must know your friends from foes
And you've got to have the nerve

Knowing is Believing
Be strong for your Gods
No matter how different
No matter the odds
